When theaters across the country temporarily closed due to Covid restrictions, this artist and playwright decided to explore a different passion. He started connecting with the spiritual world. Rebecca’s conversation with the paranormal had started long ago.
He wrote The U.S. She told the Sun that after moving to Wilmington, North Carolina, in 2018, she started working as a ghost guide. He found this job absolutely suitable. One night during the tour, he felt a presence nearby. Rebecca felt as if someone was calling her. A man wearing a red coat, who was a ghost, asked Rebecca if she had an escort home, and Rebecca hesitantly agreed to allow him to come with her.

At first Rebecca was not interested in him. But later both became one. Later research confirmed that Rupert was a Welsh man stationed in North Carolina during the Revolutionary War. He was living with a family near Wilmington and developed a close relationship with their daughter Mary, whom he eventually married.
Rupert later tells Rebecca that she has been his wife in a past life. He says he has spent the rest of his life searching for Mary, returning to her family home again and again until he finds her. Turns out he was burnt.
Rupert drew parallels between Rebecca and Mary. He explained that her spirit had recognized her and that he would wait to move on until Rebecca’s time in this life was over. Now the couple enjoys spending time together, taking walks and going to coffee shops.
